Spring
At the start of spring, the region comes alive. A range of different activities and opportunities are offered for young and old. Relax in the budding nature and make time for a visit to a local market or a tasty picnic along the way. La Verdoyante is located in the valley of the Lienne, a small river that flows northwards to flow into Amblève. The varied scenery with forests makes the region a fantastic walking and cycling paradise.

Trois-ponts and the waterfalls of Coo (11km). Stavelot and its abbey (15km). The circuit of Spa-Francorchamps (23km). Spa, the pearl of the Ardennes and the Royal Golf Club des Fagnes (30km). La Roche-en-Ardenne and the lake of Nisramont (30km). The historic Malmedy (22km) or Durbuy with its Five Nations Golf Club (33km).
Autumn
It is the culinary high season for game, mushrooms, berries and beer. But real authenticity of the Ardennes is the wonderful autumn atmosphere in the forests with its beautiful yellow, red and orange colours. A forest experience can do wonders for yourself, your family and your friends. You will have all the time for each other and can relax. Check out our extras. Everything is there to give you a carefree holiday. You can even brave the rain to dry your clothes in our mud-room afterwards and warm yourself at the fireplace with a nice hot chocolate or a good glass of wine.
Winter
Covered in snow, the high plateaus of the Ardennes are enchantingly beautiful. La Verdoyante is located at an altitude of 440 metres and children have plenty of space to play in the snow. You can go on winter walks from the garden. The High Fens are also worth a winter trip (35km). Nearby are the ski centres Piste le ski Monty (10km), ski Val de Wanne (13km) and Baraque Fraîture (15km). La Verdoyante also offers warm and cosy cosiness in winter. Enjoy together by the fireplace, on the covered terrace, or in our wellness.
